During September 2026, sewing and garment-making training sessions were conducted for a group of 40 girls under the guidance of Ms. Neha Sonavne. The training focused on developing practical tailoring skills through hands-on learning and regular practice. The participants were trained in making different garments, including umbrella short tops, bell-bottom pants, princess-cut blouses and chapti wali salwars. The sessions covered important aspects of garment making such as taking measurements, pattern preparation, fabric cutting, stitching, fitting and finishing. Through practical demonstrations and individual practice, the girls were able to improve their sewing techniques, accuracy and confidence. The training provided them with useful vocational skills that can support their personal development and create opportunities for self-employment and future income generation.
