Vadodara, October 2026: The Don Bosco Development Society organized A leaf splatter painting activity on 17th October 2026 under the aegis of Non-Formal Elementary Education project supported by United Baroda Foundation. The activity began with the teacher explaining the process of leaf splatter painting and demonstrating how to create colourful patterns using leaves, watercolours, and brushes. The children were then encouraged to collect different types of leaves from their surroundings. They collected leaves from drumstick, neem, hibiscus, and tulsi plants.
After collecting the leaves, the children carefully arranged them on sheets of paper in different patterns and designs. They dipped their brushes into various watercolours and gently splattered the colours over the leaves and the surrounding spaces. Once the leaves were removed, beautiful and colourful impressions were revealed on the paper.
The children participated enthusiastically and enjoyed experimenting with different colours, shapes, and patterns. Each child created a unique artwork, reflecting their imagination and creativity. The activity provided an opportunity for children to explore nature through art while learning about different leaves and plants.
Overall, the leaf splatter painting activity was enjoyable and educational. It helped improve the children's creativity, observation, colour recognition, hand-eye coordination, and artistic skills. The activity also encouraged active participation, self-expression, and appreciation of nature.
