Vadodara, September 2026: The Don Bosco Development Society organized Teacher’s Day celebrations on 5th September 2026 under the aegis of Non-Formal Elementary Education project supported by United Baroda Foundation.  A total of 184 children participated in this event.

Teacher’s Day was celebrated with the children attending the education classes on 5 September 2026. The teacher explained the importance of Teacher’s Day and the valuable role teachers play in helping children learn and grow.

As part of the celebration, some children took on the role of teachers and taught their classmates. They explained simple lessons, assisted their friends with their studies and encouraged them to participate. The children enjoyed taking responsibility and confidently performing the role of teachers.

The activity helped the children develop confidence, communication skills and leadership qualities. It also encouraged them to come forward, participate actively and take greater interest in their studies and classroom activities.

Overall, the celebration was a joyful and meaningful learning experience, giving the children an opportunity to learn while developing confidence and a willingness to participate.
