Vadodara, September 2026: The Don Bosco Development Society organized Ganpati  celebrations on 18th September 2026 under the aegis of Non-Formal Elementary Education project supported by United Baroda Foundation.  A total of 180 children participated in this event.

As part of the Ganpati Festival celebration, an eco-friendly Ganpati-making activity was organized for the children of the class on 18 September. The activity aimed to encourage creativity, environmental awareness and festive spirit among the students.

The children were divided into two groups according to their age. The younger children drew beautiful pictures of Lord Ganesha on paper and decorated them using crayons and watercolours. The older children made attractive Ganpati idols using clay, promoting the use of natural and eco-friendly materials.

All the children participated with great enthusiasm, joy and creativity. The handmade drawings and clay idols were later displayed in the classroom, creating a colourful and festive atmosphere. The activity provided the children with an enjoyable learning experience while encouraging them to celebrate Ganpati in an environment-friendly manner.
