The Beauty Care training sessions were conducted during October 2026 at Shikota Nagar and Kishanwadi for two groups of young women. The sessions were organised in the morning and afternoon, with 20 participants at Shikota Nagar and 22 participants at Kishanwadi. The training was facilitated by Ms. Maheshwari Lohar and Ms. Roshniben Makwana, respectively.
Both groups followed a common curriculum covering four basic beauty care skills: eye shadow application, simple makeup, hairstyling and basic mehendi design. The sessions combined practical demonstrations with hands-on learning, enabling participants to understand and practise different techniques. The trainers guided the girls in the appropriate use of beauty products, basic application methods and creative presentation. The programme provided participants with an opportunity to develop practical skills and explore their interest in the beauty care profession. These skills can help them pursue further vocational training, undertake small beauty care assignments and gradually develop opportunities for self-employment and income generation.
