Vadodara, October 2021: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Vadodara organized an exhibition-cum-sale of spice products in Tarsali Slum area in Vadodara. These spice products were made by enterprising women trained under the aegis of project supported by MIX FOR KIDS e.V (Germany) in Vadodara.

This event was planned and executed by the by women who were trained for spice making under the project. Lots of people from the local slums visited these stalls but only few people purchased the material. COVID appropriate behaviour was followed by women during this event.

SPICE MAKING TRAINING

Vadodara, October 2021: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Vadodara organized a follow up spice making training for women who underwent training last year at Rajiv Nagar slum in Vadodara City under the aegis of project supported by MIX FOR KIDS e.V (Germany) in Vadodara.

Mrs. Jagruti Patil was the resource person. In the training the resource person helped individual women in providing solutions to the problems faced by women in context of production of spices, packaging, sale of spices. The programme ended with feedback from individual participants.
