Pune, April 2024: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) organized a health camp for 52 (35 women, 9 Male and 8 Children) patients in Ajanta Nagar slum under the aegis of ‘Women Empowerment Project’ supported by AXA GBS. The medical team consisting of Dr. Amey Ekahande (BAMS), Dr. Chirag Paramar (BAMS), Dr. Shivangi Jethva (BAMS), Dr, Avinash Survse and Nursing Staff examined the patients. B.P, Temperature, oxygen level were measured for all patients. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, Calcium deficiency, Gastric Problem, Eye problem, Skin infections etc. Free medicines were distributed to patients. 3 Cataract and 1 Retina patients were identified for Cataract Surgery.
