Pune, July 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Pune organized two Climate Change awareness session for 134 children under the aegis of ‘Health Care and Sustainable Environment Project’ supported by AXA Business Services. The details are as follows:

First session was organized on 11^th July 2022 at Tadiwala Road slum. Mr Ramesh Gaikwad was the resource person. Second session was organized on 23^rd July 2022 at Dyanprabhat Madhyamic school. Mr Ramesh Gopale was the resource person. The objective of these workshops was to make children aware and take action for climate change adaptation measures, such as adjustments in natural and man-made systems to reduce the likely impacts of climate change. They covered following topics:

• Air Pollution & impact to human body

• Land Pollution & impact to human body

• Water Pollution & impact to human body

• Sound pollution and impact to human health

• How to save water

• How to change in lifestyle impact

It was an interactive session where the participants asked questions which were answered by the resource person. After the sessions snacks were distributed to all.
