Pune, October 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Pune organized a Climate Change awareness session for 55 children under the aegis of ‘Health Care and Sustainable Environment Project’ supported by AXA Business Services.

The session was organized on 7^th October 2022 at Mata Rambai Ambedkar School in Chinchwad. Dr Vikas Chothe was the resource person. The objective of the workshops was to make children aware and to motivate them to take action for climate change adaptation measures, such as adjustments in natural and man-made systems to reduce the likely impacts of climate change. Dr Vikas covered following topics:

• Air Pollution & impact to human body

• Land Pollution & impact to human body

• Water Pollution & impact to human body

• Sound pollution and impact to human health

• Water conservation, Waste Management

• Reduce, reuse and recycle

It was an interactive session where the participants asked questions which were answered by the resource person. After the sessions snacks were distributed to all.
