Pune, December 2023 : The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) organized three  health camps for 345 people under the aegis of ‘Women Empowerment Project’ supported by AXA business services. The details are as follows:

First health camp was organized on 8th December 2023 at Indira Nagar slum. 95 patients (6 Men, 15 Children and 74 Women) were examined by Dr.Pratikasha Late, Dr.Nilang R. Bhimani , Dr. Harshit Kalkundia and Dr. Ruchi Wadile, Dr. Manari Deshmukh and their team. B.P, Temperature, Blood test and Oxygen level of all the patients were measured. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from, Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, menstrual irregularities, Calcium deficiency, Gastric Problem, Skin infections and anaemia. 4 Cataract patients were identified for Cataract Surgery.

Second health camp was organized on 13th December 2023 at Khadi Machine slum in Chinchwad. 91 (49 women, 27 Male and 15 Children) patients were examined by Dr.Priyanka Kedari, Astha Chanchan and their team. B.P, Temperature and Oxygen level of all the patients were measured. During examination 3 Cataract patients were identified for Cataract Surgery. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, Calcium deficiency, Gastric Problem, Eye problem, Skin infections etc. Free medicines were given to patients.  

Third health camp was organized on 28th December 2023 at Tadiwala Road slum in Pune.  159 patients (33 Men, 31 Children and 95 Women) were examined by Dr. Junaid Khan Dr. Heena Bagwan, Mrs. Rita D’souza and their team . B.P, Temperature and Oxygen level of all the patients were measured. During examination 7 Cataract patients were identified for Cataract Surgery, 5 people had high sugar level and 11 people had high blood pressure. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, Calcium deficiency, Gastric Problem, Eye problem, Skin infections etc. Free medicines were given to patients.
