Mumbai, January 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society organized two Income Generation Trainings for 54 women under the aegis of MGL Disha Project supported by Mahanagar Gas Limited.

Two Income Generation trainings were held this month. First training was organized on 21-22 January 2022 on Fancy Candle, Perfume and Incense stick making. Ms. Mahima Selvi, Ms. Surekha Padnekar, Mr. Pradeep Moon and Mr Swaroop were the resource persons. The participants learnt to make different types of incense stick making such as Mogra, Gulab etc and mild non-alcoholic perfumes.

Second training was held on 24-25 January 2022 on Organic Soap Making. Ms. Jyoti, Mr. Pradeep Moon and Mr Swaroop were the resource persons. The participants learnt to make different types of soap such as Sandle, Neem, Aloe Vera, Coffee etc.

In both the trainings, the participants also learnt about the business process, marketing, promotion, purchasing, consumer behaviour, sales, advertisement, profit and loss statement, book keeping etc.
