Vadodara, June 2022: The Skills Programme funded by Mix For Kids e.V (Germany) was inaugurated by Fr.Baptist Monteiro (Rector-Don Bosco Snehalaya) on 1-June-2022. Many young girls and project staff participated in the inauguration ceremony. In his inaugural address, he emphasised on the challenges children and youth face today in the wake of growing inequality in the society. He emphasised on the need to build the vocational skills of youth and completing their education for proper integration in the society.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Bosco Carvalho ( Administrator- DB Snehalaya) shared his experience of working with youth in the province. He thanked Mix For Kids e.V (Germany) for supporting the children and youth from the slums of Vadodara. Skills programme focuses on building the vocational skills, creativity and health of children.

Mrs Jagruti Patil (Coordinator) gave vote of thanks. After the event snacks were served to all.
