Pune, March 2023: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) Chinchwad, organized a Climate Change awareness session on 27th March 2023 for 15 children in Durga Nagar  slum under the aegis of ‘Health Care and Sustainable Environment Project’ supported by AXA business services. Ms Akshada Naik was the resource person for this session. 

The objective of the workshops was to make children aware and take action for climate change adaptation measures, such as adjustments in natural and man-made systems to reduce the likely impacts of climate change. The Resource Persons covered following topics:

• Air Pollution & impact to human body 

• Land Pollution & impact to human body

• Water Pollution & impact to human body

• Sound pollution and impact to human health 

• Water conservation, Waste Management 

• Reduce, reuse and recycle 

These were interactive session where the participants asked questions which were answered by the resource person. After the sessions snacks were distributed to all.
