Pune, March 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) celebrated International Women’s Day under the aegis of Health Care and Sustainable Environment Project supported by AXA business services.

International women’s day was celebrated on 19^th March 2022 at Jay Bhavani Mandir in Mohan Nagar slum in Chinchwad. 75 women from different slum pockets participated in the programme. Mrs. Bhagyshree Mhatre was the Chief Guest and other Guests of Honour were Mrs. Snehal Suryvanshi (Digital Marketing- Amazon), Mrs. Varsha Sonawane and Mr. Riyaj Pirjade. The objective of this activity was to make women aware of business process and marketing strategies and how to start-up the micro business. Mrs Bhagyshree Mhatre guided participants on importance of Income generation training and starting a business, opportunities for SHG product in market, government support for SHG, Market Survey, customers need assessment of product, Standards of Business, Product Store, Product marking and numbering, Stock maintenance, how to make Customer Database, Customer relationship, Product Branding, Quality, Presentation of Products, how to calculate Profit and loss and Business record maintenance.
