Vadodara (Gujarat), March 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) is running 25 classes under ‘Urban Slum Education Project’ aimed at assisting marginalized and deprived children from slums of Vadodara financed by Kindermissionswerk (Aachen, Germany).

The Academic year about to close. Children are preparing for final exams. A review meeting was held with teachers to understand the preparedness of children for final exams and the pattern of exam. The schools have opened after almost 2 years. The teachers shared the progress of children in their class. The teachers informed that majority of children have suffered in education due to COVID19. The timetable of school exams was shared in the meeting. The schools are also suffering due to lack of adequate funds from government.
