Pune, March 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Pune organized two Climate Change awareness session for 128 people under the aegis of ‘Health Care and Sustainable Environment Project’ supported by AXA Business Services.

First Climate Change Awareness session was held on 8th March 2022 in S.B. Dhole Patil School at Tadiwala road slum for 79 students. Mr. Ramesh Gaikwad was the resource person for the program. Second Climate Change Awareness session was held on 15th March 2022 in PCMC school for 49 children. Dr Vikas Chothe was the resource person for this session. The objective of these workshops was to make children aware and take action for climate change adaptation measures, such as adjustments in natural and man-made systems to reduce the likely impacts of climate change.

Resource persons covered following topics:

• Air Pollution & impact to human body

• Land Pollution & impact to human body

• Water Pollution & impact to human body

• Sound pollution and impact to human health

• How to save water

• How to change in lifestyle impact

It was an interactive session where the participants asked questions which were answered by the resource person. After the session Mask and snacks were distributed to all.
