Pune, August 2023: The Don Bosco Development Society organized a rally on 25th August 2023 under the aegis of ‘Women Empowerment Project’ supported by AXA Business Services. The objective of the rally was to create awareness on the need to conserve environment and address the climate change issues. 60 students and teachers of Jay Bhavani Madhyamic School participated in this rally. The students gathered in hall at 10 am carrying placards with messages on creating awareness to save, preserve and conserve environment. School children urged people to save water, keep environment clean, save trees, stop using polythene bags etc. Students were very excited to participate in the rally. The rally passed through the lanes of Mohan Nagar and M. Phule Nagar spreading the message to save environment. After the rally snacks were distributed to all participants.
