Vadodara, May 2025: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Vadodara organized Beauty Care Skill Training for 20 girls from slums of Vadodara under the aegis of project supported by MIX FOR KIDS e.V (Germany). 

Ms Maheshwari Lohar was the resource person. She took four sessions, whose details are as follows: 

During the month of May 2025, a series of four specialized training sessions were conducted at Shikota Nagar to enhance the saree draping and styling skills of young girls. Led by expert trainer Maheshwari Lohar, the sessions focused on different styles including Gujarati saree, Bengali saree, Western saree, and Makeup with saree. Each session was attended by 20 enthusiastic girls who actively participated and learned practical techniques to improve their personal grooming and professional presentation. The training helped boost their confidence and opened up opportunities for future employment or self-employment in the beauty and fashion sector.
