Pune, January 2024:  The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) organized six health awareness sessions for adults residing in various slums of Pune. 132 ladies participated in these awareness sessions held under the aegis of ‘Women Empowerment Project’ supported by AXA Business Services. The objective of the programme was to educate women on health, hygiene and health risk behaviour. The details of sessions conducted are as follows:

First session was organized on 4th January 2024 at Ajantha Nagar  slum for 21 ladies.  Dr. Jyoti Shinde was the resource person. 

Second session was held on 11th January 2024 for 18 ladies in Shivraj Chawk, Yerwada Slum. Dr. Rahnuma Shaikh was the resource person. 

Third session was held on 23rd January 2024 for 28 ladies in Janata Nagar, Yerwada Slum. Mrs. Rajani Thorat was the resource person. 

Fourth session was held on 25th January 2024 for 15 ladies in Lokseva, Tadiwala Road Slum. Mrs. Shradhha Kulkari was the resource person.
