Vadodara, February 2024: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Vadodara organized three Glass Painting Trainings for 8 girls and 11 boys from slums of Vadodara under the aegis of project supported by MIX FOR KIDS e.V (Germany).

Ms Manshi Yadav was the resource person. She took three sessions, whose details are as follows:

This month children learnt to paint card board drawing and canvas drawing. Children used material such as glass colour, canvas, brush, flat brush etc to make the above mentioned items.

 For making each of the items, the instructor explained the process in details while demonstrating the steps involved in making the items. During the practical session, she helped in correcting the mistakes of children so that they learn by improving on their mistakes. First the outline is designed then colours according to shade and effects are applied to the outline. Finally the glass painting is left to dry before moving or displaying it.
