Mumbai, September 2021: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Mumbai organized nine financial literacy training for women residing in various slums of Mumbai. 454 women benefited through these sessions held under the aegis of ‘MGL Disha Project’ supported by Mahanagar Gas Limited. In all 124 women opened accounts. 12 women opened savings account, 96 women opened Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana account, and 4 women subscribed to PM Jeevan Jyoti Yojana, 10 women subscribed to IPPB, 1 woman each opened accounts of Public Provident Fund and Atal Pension Yojana.
