Chinchwad (Pune), September 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) Chinchwad, organized an awareness session on the topic of ‘Environment, Energy and Climate Change’ for the students in Geetamata English medium school, Indira Nagar Chinchwad. 97 students participated in this session which was held under the aegis of ‘Health Care and Sustainable Environment Project’ supported by AXA business services.

The session was organized on 3^rd September 2022 at Geetamata School in Chinchwad. Dr Ramesh Gopale was the resource person. The objective of the workshops was to make children aware and take action for climate change adaptation measures, such as adjustments in natural and man-made systems to reduce the likely impacts of climate change. Dr Ramesh covered following topics:

• Air Pollution & impact to human body

• Land Pollution & impact to human body

• Water Pollution & impact to human body

• Sound pollution and impact to human health

• Water conservation, Waste Management

• Reduce, reuse and recycle

It was an interactive session where the participants asked questions which were answered by the resource person. After the sessions snacks were distributed to all.
