Mumbai, November 2022: St Dominic Savio Church’s Community started first batch of Basic Tailoring course on 17^th October 2022 and completed the course on 21^st November 2022. The course was the result of initiative taken by St Dominic Savio Church’s Community under the Social Ministry mandate.

17 young ladies from Madona Colony, Vijay Nagar, Chikalwadi and Sangamwadi enrolled and completed the course. The participants learnt pattern making, cutting and stitching of basic garments. Fr Barnabas John Baptist (Vice Rector- St Dominic Savio Church’s) played a key role in establishing this tailoring skill center and mobilizing the youth to enroll in the course. The team from DBDS provided valuable support in this Initiative.
