Pune, March 2022 : The Don Bosco Development Society organized three health check-up camp for 305 people under the aegis of ‘Health Care and Sustainable Environment Project’ supported by AXA Business Services.

Three Health Camps were held this month. First health camp was held on 9th March 2022 at Indira Nagar slum. It was a special camp on Breast & Cervical Screening and general check-up camp for women. 77 women and 17 children were examined by the medical team in this camp. Dr. Trupti Dharpawar , Dr. Pratima Kale and team examined the patients in this camp. B.P and Temperature, oxygen level was measured for all patients. Breast Screening- CBC & IBE & HPPVDNA-Cervical Screening test was done for 30 to 60 years age group women. Two women were suspected of breast cancer and were referred for further screening. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, Calcium deficiency, Gastric Problem, Eye problem, Skin infections etc. Free Medicine was given to patients.

Second health Camp was held on 29th March 2022 at Siddhart Nagar slum. 127 patients (32 Men, 19 children, and 74 women) were examined by medical team. Dr. Sandeep Kachare, and Dr Mrs. Seema Kachare examined the patients. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from, Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, menstrual irregularities, Calcium deficiency, Gastric Problem, Skin infections and anaemia.

Third free Eye and General check-up camp was held on 29th March 2022 at Ajantha Nagar slum in Chinchwad. 56 women, 27 men and 1 child were examined by Dr. Sambhaji Jagdale, Avinash Aalke & Dr. Pratima Kale in this camp. B.P and Temperature, oxygen level was measured for all patients. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, Calcium deficiency, Gastric Problem, Eye problem, Skin infections etc. Patients were given free medicines.
