Pune, August 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) held two Financial Literacy sessions for 55 women under the aegis of Health Care and Sustainable Environment Project supported by AXA business services.

First session was held on 2^nd August 2022 for the women of Mahatama Phule Nagar slum in Chinchwad. 28 women participated in this session. Mrs K.S.Parkhi was the resource person.

Second session was held on 27^th August 2022 for the women from Aple Ghar slum in Pune. 27 women participated in this session. Ms Mona More was the resource person.

• SB Account,Recurring deposit (RD) and Fixed Deposits

• Monthly Income Scheme(MIS)

• Senior Citizen Scheme (SCS)

• Public Provident Fund (PPF)

• National Saving Certificate (NSC)

• Kisan Vikas Patra (KVP)

• Sukanya Samruddhi Yojana

• Ponzy schemes

It was an interactive session where the participants asked questions which were answered by the resource person.
