Pune, July 2024: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) organized a Climate Change awareness sessions for 54 students of PCMC Urdu School under the aegis of ‘Women Empowerment Project’ supported by AXA GBS. Prof. Prasad Zingare was the resource person. 

The objective of this session was to make children aware and take action for climate change adaptation measures, such as adjustments in natural and man-made systems to reduce the likely impacts of climate change. The Resource Persons covered following topics:

• Air Pollution & impact to human body 

• Land Pollution & impact to human body

• Water Pollution & impact to human body

• Sound pollution and impact to human health 

• Water conservation, Waste Management 

• Reduce, reuse and recycle 

These were interactive session where the participants asked questions which were answered by the resource person. After the sessions snacks were distributed to all.
