Pune : A Spice Making Training workshop was held on 21^st June 2022 for women from various slums of Pune city. 28 women from various slum areas participated in this workshop. The programme was organized under the aegis of corporate responsibility week of AXA Business Services.

The objective of this training was to impart skill and knowledge on spice making as micro business for supplementary income to the families connected to this project. Mrs Rohini Jawalkar was the resource person. During the training the resource person taught the preparation of Kanda-Lasun Masala and Mutton Masala. In the second session she covered the topic of marketing, costing, budgeting, pricing and branding of product. Sharing her experience one of the participant, Mrs. Vaishali Shonde said “AXA company is organizing good programmes for us. In this training I learn to make 2 types of spices of business quality. I am thankful to AXA, I hope to start the business after consulting my family.” After the program snacks were distributed to all.
