1770 Skills Programme: Tailoring Skills for girls

Vadodara, February 2025 : The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Vadodara organized Tailoring Skill Training for a batch of 20 girls from the slums of Vadodara under the aegis of project supported by MIX FOR KIDS e.V (Germany). 

Ms Nitu Yadav was the instructor. She took three sessions whose details are as follows: 

The blouse stitching training sessions were conducted in Somatalav on 1st, 11th, and 19th February 2025, led by resource person Nitu Yadav, with participation ranging from 20 to 21 girls in each session. The objective was to equip women with tailoring skills, enhancing their ability to create customized blouse designs and generate income through self-employment. The sessions covered the stitching of Four Tuks blouses, Four Tuks blouses with belts, and Katori blouses, providing participants with practical knowledge of different blouse patterns and fitting techniques.
