1587 DBDS-AXA Project: Income generation Training for women
Pune, October 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society organized four Income Generation Trainings under the aegis of “Health Care and Sustainable Environment” Project supported by AXA business services.
First Training was held in Dutta Nagar during 10th – 15th October 2022 on western jewellery making. 12 women participated in this session. Ms Yogita Joshi was the resource person. She taught participants to make Mangalsutra, Anklet, Ear ring, Zumke, Bracelet, Necklace (signal, double and three lines).
Second Training was held in Khadi Machine slum on 18th October 2022 on Diya painting making. 15 women participated in this session. Mrs. Shweta Chaudhary was the resource person. She taught various forms of Diya painting. Resource person also took session on business development and management.
Third training was held in Laxmi Nagar slum on 21st October 2022 on spice making. 16 women participated in this session. Mrs Shashikala Vasmane was the resource person. She taught four types of spice making which included Kanda-lahsun masala, Goda masala, Mutton Masala, and Garam Masala.
Fourth training was held in Laxmi Nagar slum on 29th October 2022 on spice making. 17 women participated in this session. Mrs Anita Kawade was the resource person. She taught four types of spice making which included Kanda-lahsun masala, Goda masala, Mutton Masala, and Garam Masala.
In all the trainings, the resource person also conducted a session on production, marketing, costing, budgeting, pricing and brand building. The participants learnt the production process and the business management lessons with great enthusiasm.
