Vadodara, September 2024: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Vadodara organized Beauty Care Skill Training for 20 girls from slums of Vadodara under the aegis of project supported by MIX FOR KIDS e.V (Germany).

 Ms Maheshwari Lohar was the resource person. She took four sessions, whose details are as follows:

This month, the instructor focused on teaching various essential beauty care skills, including hairstyling, body massage, body polishing, and waxing. Hairstyling covered techniques for different hair types and face shapes, enabling participants to create versatile looks suitable for different occasions. In the body massage segment, participants were introduced to techniques for relaxing the body and mind, covering different types of massage. The body polishing  taught students how to treat the skin effectively, leaving it soft and radiant, while also explaining the importance of skin care in maintaining overall health and wellness. Finally, the waxing sessions covered teaching the proper methods for removing hair from different areas of the body. Emphasis was placed on client comfort and hygiene, ensuring students understood the importance of sanitation and safety in their future practices.
