Mumbai, September 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Mumbai organized a teacher’s training workshops for the part time teachers under the aegis of ‘MGL Disha Project’ supported by Mahanagar Gas Limited.

Ms Varsha Sonawane was the resource person. In the session teachers were informed about the initial evaluation of every students so that a baseline can be established. The resource person covered the topic of parent’s role and communication with the children. The teachers were given practical demonstration of the communication channels with children, medium of communication, material of communication and documentation, preparing teaching- learning material (games, stories, lesson plans), lesson plans, report writing, review, how to measure progress of a child and classroom management. The participants asked many questions which were all answered by the resource person.
