Mumbai, September 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Mumbai started the advance tailoring classes for the women from various slums of Mumbai under the aegis of ‘MGL Disha Project’ supported by Mahanagar Gas Limited.

20 students are undergoing advance tailoring skills training in Matunga Campus. In the 2 months training the students will learn pattern making cutting, stitching and finishing of the garments, (frock, gents pyjama, petticoat, churidar pyjama, ladies kurta, salwar etc.), surface decoration of garments using embroidery, laces, buttons, beads, sequins, fold, iron, pack and cost evaluation of stitched garment etc.
