Pune, July 2024: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Chinchwad, organized a Free General Health Check-Up Camp on 13th July 2024 for the residents of Vidya Nagar slum under the 'Women Empowerment Project,' supported by AXA Global Business Services. A total of 80 residents (59 women, 12 men, and 9 children) benefited from this initiative.

Dr. Shubadha Kshirsagr (BAMS - General Physician), along with nursing staff Ms. Aprana Kasbe and Ms. Supriya Gaikwad, conducted thorough examinations. They checked blood pressure, blood sugar, temperature, and oxygen levels. Diagnoses included joint pain, fungal infections, common colds, calcium deficiencies, gastric problems, eye issues, and skin infections. Free medicines were distributed to those in need.
