Pune, February 2025: The Don Bosco Development Society organized a Climate Change Awareness session on 28th February 2025 at Bahujan Hitay Girls Hostel for 109 girls. Mrs Vaishali Kudekar was the Resource Person.  

The objective of this session was to make children aware and take action for climate change adaptation measures, such as adjustments in natural and man-made systems to reduce the likely impacts of climate change. The Resource Person covered following topics:

• Air Pollution & impact to human body 

• Land Pollution & impact to human body

• Water Pollution & impact to human body

• Sound pollution and impact to human health 

• Water conservation, Waste Management 

• Reduce, reuse and recycle 

It was an interactive session where the participants asked questions which were answered by the resource person. After the sessions snacks were distributed to all.
