Pune, July 2022 : The Don Bosco Development Society organized three health check-up camps for 300 people under the aegis of ‘Health Care and Sustainable Environment Project’ supported by AXA Business Services. The details of health camps are as follows:

First health camp was held on 7^th July 2022 at Mahatama Phule Nagar slum in Chinchwad. 81 (51 women, 14 Male and 16 child) patients were examined by the medical team in this camp Dr. Shubam Ladkat and Team from Shree Krupa Multispecialty Hospital and their team examined the patients in this camp. B.P and temperature and oxygen level were measured for all patients. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, Calcium deficiency, Gastric Problem, Eye problem, Skin infections etc. Free Medicines was given to patients.

Second health camp was held on 20^th July 2022 at Khadi Machine slum in Chinchwad. 80 (47 women, 18 Male and 15 child) patients were examined by the medical team in this camp. Dr. Pratima Kale, Mrs. Ashish Aaher and Ajay examined the patients in this camp. B.P ,Temperature, oxygen level were measured for all patients. 2 Cataract patients were identified for Cataract Surgery. People with defective eye-sight were given spectacles at a highly subsidized price of Rs.200 to 400 only. Few patients with defective vision were also referred to H.V. Desai Hospital for further treatment.

Third health camp was held on 23^rd July 2022 at Yashwant Nagar slum in Yerwada. 139 patients (26 men, 35 children, and 78 women) were examined by the doctor in this camp. Dr. Junaid Khan (General Physician and Skin) and Dr. Amreen (Gynaecologist and Paediatrician) examined the patients. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from, Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, menstrual irregularities, Calcium deficiency, Gastric Problem, Skin infections and anaemia. 13 patients had high sugar level and 24 patients were found with high BP.
