Vadodara (Gujarat), January 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) in association with Don Bosco Snehalaya organized a Health Camp for 70 girls and boys from the slums of Vadodara. These health Camps were held under the aegis of project financially supported by Mix for Kids, e.v. (Germany).

The details of these health camps is as follows:

The objective of health camp was to medically examine the children for any disease, infection or ailments with which they might be suffering. Nearly, 50% children were suffering from fungal infection, anemia, cold or cough. Medicine was given to them. The doctor gave Iron tablets for one months to twelve girls suffering from anemia. 15 children had skin itching problems for which ointment was given. Vitamin C tablets were given to all children.
