Mumbai, April 2024: The Don Bosco Development Society started a new batch of tailoring skills for ladies from the slums of Mumbai. 29 ladies are undergoing the 2 months intensive training program under the aegis of ‘Women Empowerment Project’ supported by AXA Global Business Services. 

Ms. Hasina Siddhi is the instructor. This month the students learnt to make machine cover, apron and blouse. The instructor first taught the cutting on a newspaper and then on actual cloth. After the design is cut on the clothes, it is stitched following the instructions given by the instructor.
