Pune, May 2023: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) organized seven health awareness sessions for adults residing in various slums of Pune. 167 people participated in these awareness sessions held under the aegis of ‘Health care and Sustainable Environment Project’’ supported by AXA Business Services.

The objective of the programme was to educate adults on health, hygiene and health risk behaviour. The details of sessions conducted are as follows:

• First session was held on 3rd May 2023 at Phule Nagar slum for 20 women. Dr. Anuja Krushna was the resource persons. 

• Second session was held on 4th May 2023 for 18 women in Netaji nagar slum. Mr Nagsen Chavan and Mrs. Lina Gaikwad were the resource persons. 

• Third session was held on 9th May 2023 at Durga Nagar slum for 20 women. Dr. Anuja Krushna was the resource person. 

• Fourth session was held on 18th May 2023 at Ram Nagar slum for 26 women. Mrs. Akshada Naik was the resource person.
