Vadodara, August 2024: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Vadodara organized Beauty Care Skill Training for 21 girls from slums of Vadodara under the aegis of project supported by MIX FOR KIDS e.V (Germany). 

Ms Maheshwari Lohar was the resource person. She took four sessions, whose details are as follows: 

The instructor taught the process of body massage involving techniques like kneading, stroking, and tapping. She then explained the process of Hair Massage, Hair Spa and Face Massage. Hair massage stimulates the scalp by using fingertips to gently rub in circular motions, promoting blood circulation and enhancing hair growth. A hair spa nourishes the scalp and hair with deep conditioning treatments, usually involving massaging with oils or creams, steaming, and rinsing. Face massage involves gentle strokes and pressure on the facial muscles, enhancing blood flow, reducing puffiness, and promoting a glowing complexion.
