Pune, August 2022 : The Don Bosco Development Society organized two health check-up camps for 217 people under the aegis of ‘Health Care and Sustainable Environment Project’ supported by AXA Business Services.

First health camp was held on 18^th August 2022 at Ajanta Nagar slum in Chinchwad. 104 (62 women, 26 Male and 16 child) patients were examined by the medical team in this camp. Dr. Pritam Landge (General Physician), Dr. Anuja Krushna (Dental specialist), Dr. Suresh Sid (ENT) and team examined the patients in this camp. B.P, Sugar and Temperature, oxygen level were measured for all patients. 4 ENT patients were identified for Ear Surgery. People with defective ear problem were given ear machine at a highly subsidized cost of Rs.2000 to 2500 only. Few patients with defective vision were also referred to ENT & Dental Hospital for further treatment.

Second health camp was held on 20^th August 2022 at Tadiwala Road slum in Pune. 113 patients (30 Men, 17 children, and 66 women) were examined by the doctor in this camp. Dr. Ansar Maqsood (General Physician and Paediatrician) and Dr. Furquan (Gynaecologist and Skin) examined the patients. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from, Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, Gastric Problem, Skin infections and anaemia.
