1590 AXA-DBDS Project: Free Health Camps
Pune, November 2023 : The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) organized four health camps for 550 people under the aegis of ‘Women Empowerment Project’ supported by AXA business services. The details are as follows:
First health camp was organized on 7th November 2023 at Laxminagar slum. 189 patients (12 Men, 79 Children and 98 Women) were examined by a medical team consisting of Dr. Junaid Khan (Paediatrician and General Physician), Dr. Heena Bagwan (Gynaecologists and Skin) Mr. Abid (Lab technician). B.P, Temperature, Blood test and Oxygen level of all the patients were measured. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from, Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, menstrual irregularities, Calcium deficiency, Gastric Problem, Skin infections and anaemia. On examination it was found that 4 people had high sugar level and 7 persons blood sample was taken for CBC test.
Second health camp was organized on 21st November 2023 at Saibaba Nagar slum in Chinchwad. 93 (61 Women, 18 Men and 14 Children) patients were examined by Dr.Priyanka Kedari (MBBS) and Mr. Harshdeep Raut (B. Optician) and their team. B.P, Temperature and Oxygen level of all the patients were measured. During examination 9 Cataract patients were identified for Cataract Surgery. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, Calcium deficiency, Gastric Problem, Eye problem, Skin infections etc. Free medicines were given to patients.
Third health camp was organized on 28th November 2023 at Ram Nagar slum in Chinchwad. 121 (73 Women, 28 Men and 20 Children) patients were examined by Dr.Priyanka Kedari (MBBS) and Mr. Harshdeep Raut (B. Optician) and their team. B.P, Temperature and Oxygen level of all the patients were measured. During examination 13 Cataract patients were identified for Cataract Surgery. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, Calcium deficiency, Gastric Problem, Eye problem, Skin infections etc. Free medicines were given to patients.
Fourth free Medical Check-up camp at on 28th November 2023 at Private Road slum. 147 patients (27 Men, 37 Children and 83 Women) were examined by a medical team consisting of Dr. Junaid Khan (Paediatrician and General Physician) and Dr. Heena Bagwan (Gynaecologists and Skin). B.P, Temperature, Blood test and Oxygen level of all the patients were measured. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from, Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, menstrual irregularities, Calcium deficiency, Gastric Problem, Skin infections and anaemia. On examination it was found that 15 people had high sugar level and 8 persons blood sample was taken for CBC test.
