Pune, April 2023 : The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) organized two      awareness sessions on savings, investment, insurance and digital security under the aegis of ‘Health Care and Sustainable Environment Project’ supported by AXA business services. 

First training session was organized on 3rd April 2023 at Indira Nagar slum. Mrs. Shilpa Deshpande was the resource person. 19 ladies participated in this session. Second training session was organized on 24th April 2023 at Laxmi Nagar slum. Mr Nagsen Chavan was the resource person. 17 ladies participated in this session. The resource person covered following topics in her session: 

• SB Account,Recurring deposit (RD) and Fixed Deposits

• Monthly Income Scheme(MIS)

• Senior Citizen Scheme (SCS)

• Public Provident Fund (PPF)

• National Saving Certificate (NSC)

• Kisan Vikas Patra (KVP)

• Sukanya Samruddhi Yojana 

• Ponzy schemes

• Digital Frauds and Precautions

It was an interactive session where the participants asked questions which were answered by the resource person.
