Mumbai, August 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Mumbai is imparting Basic training in ‘Beauty Care’ skills to young women from the slums of Mumbai. The two months’ intensive course is designed to provide employment in beauty care industry. The course includes imparting skills in Skin science, Skin structure, Skin function, Skin preparation, Facials, Hairstyling, Colour Techniques, Keratin Treatment, Straightening & Perming, Shampoo and conditioning, Hair spas, treatments, and rituals etc. 15 students who successfully completed the training were given certificates by Fr George Miranda (Executive Director-DBDS). Speaking on the occasion Fr George congratulated the ladies and encouraged them to learn more, practice and set up their business.

After the presentation ceremony Ms. Surekha Pednekar (Project Officer) thanked everyone for taking out time and gracing the event with their presence. The program ended with sumptuous snacks served for all.
