Mumbai, January 2023 : Shri Susanta Rout (Sr Manager-CSR) and Ms Priyanka Dalvi (Asst Manager- CSR) from Mahanagar Gas Ltd visited the first batch of Advance Tailoring classes in Dharavi on 5th January 2023.

The programme began with the welcome ceremony by the ladies. They welcomed the guests by aarti, tika and showering petals on them. Fr George Miranda (Executive Director-DBDS) welcomed the guests by presenting a bouquet and thanked the management of MGL for supporting DBDS through Disha Project. One of the components under MGL Disha project is to train ladies on advance beauty skills and advance tailoring skills. So far 2 batches of 28 ladies; 12 ladies of Tailoring and 16 ladies of beauty care have completed the course. It is expected that by mid-March more than 100 ladies will successfully complete the advance skill courses.
