Pune, October 2022 : The Don Bosco Development Society organized five health check-up camps for 502 people under the aegis of ‘Health Care and Sustainable Environment Project’ supported by AXA Business Services.

First health camp was organized on 12^th October 2022 in Ambedkar Nagar slum. Dr.Subhash Ladkat and Ms. Sakshi Patil examined 104 (71 women, 13 Male and 20 child) people in this camp.

Second health camp was organized on 13^th October 2022 in Mahatama Phule Nagar slum. Dr. Pratima Kale, Ms. Sakshi Patil examined 115 (76 women, 21 Male and 18 child) people in this camp.

Third health camp was organized on 19^th October 2022 in Laxmi Nagar slum. Dr. Ranware and Dr. Tamanna Shaikh examined 89 people in this camp.

Fourth health camp was organized on 21^st October 2022 in Indira Nagar slum. Dr. Pratima Kale and Ms. Sakshi Patil examined 102 (56 women, 24 Male and 22 child) people in this camp.

Fifth health camp was organized on 31^st October 2022 in Subhash Nagar slum. Dr. Junaid Khan examined 92 people in this camp.

B.P, Sugar and Temperature, oxygen level were measured for all patients. 23 Cataract patients were identified for Cataract Surgery. Few patients with defective vision were also referred to H.V. Desai Hospital for further treatment. Patients were diagnosed to be suffering from Joint pain, Fungal Infection, Common cold, Calcium deficiency, Gastric Problem, Eye problem, Skin infections etc. Free medicines were given to people with illness.
