Mumbai, September 2021: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) organized a training workshops for the remedial class teachers. 20 teachers and 7 project staff participated in this training which was organized under the aegis of ‘MGL Disha Project’ supported by Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL).

A training session was held on 7-September for the part time teachers of the project. Ms Shamika Ranade and Ms Bindu Chaddha were the resource persons for the session. They covered following topics in the training:

• Set SMART lesson objectives and outcomes

• Assessment strategies into lesson plans

• Role of the teacher in the classroom

Mrs Shamika Ranade (Co-ordinator for the remedial classes) took four monitoring session for teachers. In the monitoring session, Mrs Ranade took stock of the progress being made by students. She guided the teachers on the school syllabus and on the methods to engage students online.
