Vadodara, October 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Vadodara organized Glass Painting Training for 20 girls and boys from slums of Vadodara under the aegis of project supported by MIX FOR KIDS e.V (Germany).

Ms Manshi Yadav was the resource person. She took three sessions whose details are as follows:

The participants learnt to make three paintings. The details are as follows:

1) Making Mother Painting

Material Required: Transparent Sheet, Outer Liner, Glass Colour, Black Paper, Favicol, Cardboard

Method: Draw the picture on white paper and then copy the picture using outliner across the transparent sheet. After the outliner, cover the blank space with small boxes around the picture. Apply aluminium foil on the cardboard and make the black paper frame.

2) Making Navratri Girl

Material: Transparent sheet, outliner acrylic paint

Method: Draw a girl's picture on white paper. Copy the picture using outliner on the transparent sheet. Once the outliner is dry add acrylic colour to it and create a frame.

3) Three Jamaican Ladies

Material: Transparent sheet, Outer liner, acrylic paint

Method: Draw a Jamaican ladies’ picture on white paper. Copy the picture using outliner on the transparent sheet. Once the outliner is dry add acrylic colour to it and create a frame.
