Pune, May 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Pune organized a Climate Change awareness session for 22 children in Ambedkar Nagar slum under the aegis of ‘Health Care and Sustainable Environment Project’ supported by AXA Business Services.

The session was held on 28^th May 2022. Mrs Akshada Naik was the resource person for the program. The objective of these workshops was to make children aware and take action for climate change adaptation measures, such as adjustments in natural and man-made systems to reduce the likely impacts of climate change. She covered following topics:

• Air Pollution & impact to human body

• Land Pollution & impact to human body

• Water Pollution & impact to human body

• Sound pollution and impact to human health

• How to save water

• How to change in lifestyle impact

It was an interactive session where the participants asked questions which were answered by the resource person. After the session biscuits were distributed to all.
