Pune, November 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Pune organized eight Climate Change awareness session for 284 children under the aegis of ‘Health Care and Sustainable Environment Project’ supported by AXA Business Services. The details are as follows:

Dr. Vikas Chothe , Mr. Mayur Pawar, Mr. Ramesh Gaikwad, Mrs.Sunanda Vitakar, Mr. Shiridhar Chipate, Ms. Shubhangi Sadafule, Mr. Telang were the resource persons and they took sessions at various locations.

The objective of the workshops was to make children aware and take action for climate change adaptation measures, such as adjustments in natural and man-made systems to reduce the likely impacts of climate change. The Resource Persons covered following topics:

• Air Pollution & impact to human body

• Land Pollution & impact to human body

• Water Pollution & impact to human body

• Sound pollution and impact to human health Water conservation, Waste Management

• Reduce, reuse and recycle

These were interactive session where the participants asked questions which were answered by the resource person. After the sessions snacks were served to all.
