Pune, February 2022: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Pune organized two Climate Change awareness session for 84 people under the aegis of ‘Health Care and Sustainable Environment Project’ supported by AXA Business Services.

First Climate Change Awareness session was held on 17th February 2022 in PCMC school for 62 students. Mr. Vikas Chothe was the resource person for the program.

Second Climate Change Awareness session was held on 24th February 2022 in Mother Teresa Nagar Slum for 22 women. Mr Ramesh Gaikwad was the resource person for this session. The objective of these workshops was to make children aware and take action for climate change adaptation measures, such as adjustments in natural and man-made systems to reduce the likely impacts of climate change.

Resource persons covered following topics:

• Air Pollution & impact to human body

• Land Pollution & impact to human body

• Water Pollution & impact to human body

• Sound pollution and impact to human health

• How to save water

• How to change in lifestyle impact

It was an interactive session where the participants asked questions which were answered by the resource person. After the session Mask and Soap were distributed to all.
